Re: The Supreme Court Decision on ObamaCare
The Lehigh Valley 9/12 Group/Tea Party is greatly disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision ruling that ObamaCare can be regarded as constitutional if the associate fees are treated as a tax. This ruling sets a precedent for giving license to the federal government to impose similar demands covering any product or service it determines are “in our best interests”. It is a tragic blow to both state and individual sovereignty and represents a substantial and frightening loss of individual freedom.
The details about the hundreds of little tyrannies in this law are only of secondary concern. The unifying fundamental battlefield to fight for ObamaCare’s repeal is—that the law violates the unalienable individual rights of medical professionals and patients to freely make choices that are theirs by right and by the blood of the hallowed line of patriots who died to protect those rights.
Hopefully this constitutional assault will awaken all those citizens who have not yet become aware of the concerted effort of “liberal progressives” to transform our government into a centralized socialist state.
As Justice Roberts has said “It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices”. That is why we, the voting public, must do our homework and know the voting record of the ones we elect into office.
