Keep in mind that fair use is in play. If you find a news article, new bill, etc., you wish to post, please do so in part, and not in it's entirety. You must ensure the material is properly cited with at least the URL of the original article. If you didn't write it, cite it & have our readers go to the original website to read the whole article. We do not condone plagiarism or theft (even when the source is properly attributed)
SPAMMING AND OTHER ILLEGAL ACTS:
Don't do it, and do not advise others they can do it. If a request for legal or official responses are requested, do not list your response as official legal advice. Illegal acts (spamming, malicious editing, etc.) performed on this site will result in immediate action. Unfortunately, spammers from outside the group may gain access to member information. If you suspect that you have been a victim of spamming originating from our membership, please contact the site administrator.
LIABILITY:
The organizers and assistant organizers of this site do not accept any liability of any kind for the postings made on this site. Forum posts are the sole responsibility and opinion of the poster and do not necessarily reflect the views of the organization, board members, or any other member of LVTP. The administrators do their best to keep offensive posts at bay, and conversation civil. However, if something is offensive or problematic in any way, notify the moderator so that action may be taken.
PROFANITY:
Will not be tolerated. Anyone, regardless of their age, should be involved in their country so there may be youngsters browsing. Again, keep the discussion PG and civil.
POLITICAL ACTIVITY:
We encourage free discussion of the issues of the day that interest our members but the group cannot endorse or oppose any specific candidate or political party. Any discussions on this site are individual opinions only, even if posted by committee heads or board members, and do not represent the official position of the organization. While we encourage discussions we cannot allow the forum to become a media outlet for politicians. This means that outright electioneering, the posting of press releases, campaign speeches, flyers, etc, will not be tolerated and will be immediately deleted.
