Should a Tax Have the Power to Leave You Homeless?

Lehigh Valley Neighbor: Have you heard about the Fill-A-Bus-Tour? The goal of the "Fillabustour" is to fill at least one bus from each of our 66 counties taking 3,630 demonstrators to Harrisburg. Those who are able will deliver to the offices of the different legislators signed petitions from people back home who want passage of the Property Tax Independence Act. This is a crucial demonstration of a united effort.

Our representatives are under tremendous pressure from different special interest groups to not let this crucial bill come to a vote. They need to know that they have the support of their constituency back home. Those "on the fence" need to hear from the special interest that matters, the taxpayers and the voters. Change does not happen by itself, it takes pressure applied by a concerned citizenry.

This Pennsylvanian grassroots effort supporting HB 1776 Property Tax Independence Act www.ptcc.us will be Tues. Sept. 25th., the legislature's first day back from vacation. Don’t be shy, come along with us to greet them. We have petitions to deliver and thank yous to our supporters.
